Daniel R. Pascheles PhD

Dr. Daniel Pascheles to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Pascheles joins Molekule Consulting having a distinguished career in the biopharmaceutical industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Head of Global Competitive Intelligence at Merck & Co. Prior to joining Molekule Consulting, Dr. Pascheles was Vice President, Head of Global Competitive Intelligence at Merck and Co for twelve (12) years. He built a world-class CI department, which provided global business and competitive intelligence for Commercial and R&D activities; he also contributed to strategy development, target and candidate identification for licensing, business development and M&A activities.

Dr. Pascheles previously worked for Aventis and its predecessor company (Hoechst Marion Roussel, Marion Merrell Dow) for over fourteen (14) years in the following varied positions: Head of Global Competitive Intelligence, Global Marketing Director, General Manager Switzerland, European Head of Sales, Marketing Administration and Strategic Planning. Dr. Pascheles earned his undergraduate and Ph.D. in Pharmacy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland. He is Past-President and a current Board member of the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence & Research Group (PBIRG).

He is also a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and the Licensing Executive Society (LES). He is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Pharmaceutical Executive magazine, and publishes regularly in numerous trade magazines. Dr. Pascheles is also Visiting Professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid teaching a Master Class in Competitive Intelligence.
