Dr. Low is the Vice Chair of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at University of California at Los Angeles. Before joining UCLA in 2010, he was a professor and Director of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics in 1988 from Indiana University and was a postdoctoral fellow for two years in radiation therapy physics at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
He is a Fellow of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Radiation Therapy Physics. He has been principal investigator on 5 National Institutes of Health R01 grants and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
