Dr. Schultz is the Medical Director and Vice President of
Tissue Services for LifeLink Foundation and is headquartered at the LifeLink Tissue Bank. He has served in that capacity for nearly 10 years. In addition to this position, Dr. Schultz serves as the Tissue Bank Microbiology Lab Director.
Dr. Schultz is the current Chairman of the Board (2005-2007) and previous President Elect (2003-2005) of the American Association of Tissue Banks (AATB), a professional, nonprofit, scientific and educational organization which is the only national tissue banking organization in the United States. Its membership includes more than 100 accredited tissue banks and 1,000 individual members. The overwhelming majority of the human tissue distributed for transplantation comes from such AATB-Accredited tissue banks.
