Daniel Allan MD

Dr. Daniel Allan, MD, MBA, is a board-certified family medicine physician and Vice Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic. He provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages at the Avon Lake Family Health Center, combining clinical excellence with a longstanding commitment to healthcare leadership, innovation, and medical education.

Dr. Allan earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed his residency in Family Practice at Saint Joseph Hospital-Exempla in Denver, Colorado. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare from Baldwin Wallace University, further strengthening his expertise in healthcare management and organizational leadership. He is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Since joining the Cleveland Clinic in 2000, Dr. Allan has held numerous leadership positions, including President of the Cleveland Clinic Medicare Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Chair of its Executive Committee, Vice Chair of Family Medicine, and member of several committees focused on clinical quality, compliance, documentation excellence, and practice improvement. His work has helped shape primary care delivery and population health initiatives across the organization.
