Daniel Haverkamp MD, PhD

Dr. D. Haverkamp (1976) studied medicine at the University of Amsterdam and followed the training for Orthopedic surgeon at the Academic Medical Center, the Hilversum Hospital and the Slotervaart Hospital. He graduated in 2006 with his dissertation on the surgical treatment of hip wear in the younger patient. Since 2012, Dr. D. Haverkamp works as a staff member at the Orthopedic Department of the Slotervaart Hospital. After his education, Dr. Haverkamp focused on hip and ankle pathology. In the field of ankle complaints, he gained extensive experience by working together with Prof van Dijk and Prof Kerkhoffs at the AMC in Amsterdam. In addition, he has worked intensively with Dr. Ceess Doets, a (retired) pioneer in the field of ankle replacements.
