Dr. Daniel Eichberg graduated from Cornell University with a B.A. in Biology and Neuroscience. He earned his medical degree and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He was awarded the prestigious Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellowship, during which he spent a year at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology researching cures for brain tumors. He is a neurosurgery chief resident at the University of Miami, where he was awarded the prestigious National Institutes of Health T32 grant and the Neurosurgery Research and Education Foundation (NREF) Research Fellowship Grant for glioblastoma research. He has completed a Surgical Neuro-oncology fellowship, also at the University of Miami.
