Daniel Beasley Murrey MD, MPP

Dan joined SCA and OptumCare in 2018. He serves as chief medical officer of the specialty practice division for SCA and OptumCare. An orthopedic spine surgeon, Dan was previously a founder and chief executive officer of OrthoCarolina (one of the largest orthopedic practices in the country). Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College, Master of Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and his MD from Harvard Medical School.
