Daniel Bachteler PhD, MSc

Daniel Bachteler is Manager in the Clinical Dental Research Department at Colgate-Palmolive’s Global Technology Center in Piscataway, NJ. Since 2013, Dr. Bachteler manages clinical studies in the US and abroad, as well as is responsible for the development and implementation of a professional communication strategy.

Dr. Bachteler joined Colgate in 2004 as Scientific Affairs Manager in the company’s subsidiary GABA International in Basel, Switzerland. In 2008, he was relocated to New York, NY, resuming his role in Scientific Affairs at Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals. Prior to working for Colgate, he gained 3 years of experience as post-doctoral research fellow at the Central Institute of Mental Health in Mannheim, Germany in the area of alcohol addiction and relapse. He graduated in biology from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany and holds a Ph.D. in biology from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
