Dr. Daniel Barone, MD, is a board-certified neurologist and sleep medicine specialist dedicated to diagnosing and treating a wide range of sleep disorders. He serves at Montefiore Medical Center (at 3411 Wayne Avenue, Bronx, NY), where he provides expert clinical care in both neurology and sleep medicine.
Dr. Barone received his medical degree from New York Medical College and went on to complete his residency training in neurology at Saint Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center and Beth Israel Hospital. He further refined his expertise through a fellowship in Sleep Disorders at the State University of New York at Stony Brook Hospital.
With specialized training in sleep medicine, Dr. Barone is experienced in evaluating and managing conditions such as obstructive sleep apnea, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, narcolepsy, and other neurologically-based sleep-wake disorders. He combines a patient-centered approach with up-to-date, evidence-based practices to improve patients’ sleep quality and overall health.
