Dan Cohen MD

Dan is a psychiatrist in his native Pittsburgh PA and focuses on helping people with addictions. He provides buprenorphine and naltrexone treatments for opioid use disorders through a comprehensive treatment program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He also provides psychiatric consultations to inpatients at Gateway Rehab, and is the psychiatrist for the RHD “C.O.R.E.” program – a 6-month prison-reintegration program for individuals with mental health and addiction issues that aims to reduce recidivism and improve quality of life for this particularly marginalized group. One of his biggest interests is Motivational Interviewing, and he is a Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers member.
