Dale Ann Micalizzi

Dale Ann Micalizzi is an Improvement Advisor and a nationally known advocate for pediatric patient safety and transparency in medicine. Her 11-year-old son Justin died following a “simple” incision and drainage of an infected ankle in 2001. Her tireless search for answers about her son’s death gave rise to a commitment to improving pediatric safety and transparency in health care internationally.
