Daipayan Guha MD, PhD, FRCSC

Dr. Daipayan Guha, MD, PhD, FRCSC, is a spinal neurosurgeon and academic leader currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He is actively involved in the Division of Neurosurgery at Hamilton Health Sciences, where he specializes in advanced spinal surgery and complex spinal disorders.

Dr. Guha completed his Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees at the University of Toronto, where he also earned his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) in neurosurgery. His clinical practice focuses on minimally invasive and image-guided techniques in spinal surgery, with particular interest in leveraging emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and intraoperative 3D navigation to improve surgical precision and patient outcomes.
