Daan Dohmen PhD

Dr. Dohmen is the founder of FocusCura and founder and CEO of Luscii. Both companies are active in the field of healthcare innovation and belong to the fastest growing companies of The Netherlands. FocusCura provides services for over 130,000 (mostly) elderly to stay independent using modern technology. Luscii offers remote monitoring services to the chronically ill in five countries and holds with global partnerships with Apple and with Omron Healthcare. The Luscii remote monitoring service for patients with respiratory and cardiovasculair diseases is reimbursed by over 94% of insurers and recently crossed over 1,000,000 virtuals, making it one of the leaders in this promising e-health and Artificial Intelligence field in Europe. Dr. Dohmen belongs to the list of the 100 Dutch most influential healthcare people and was awarded “Entrepreneur of the Year”. He holds a Master’s degree in management of medicine and a PhD (cum laude) in behavioral sciences. Also he was appointed by the Dutch King in the Council for Health & Society to advice the Dutch Cabinet and Parliament on mid term trends in health and society.
