Cynthia Chin MD

Dr. Cynthia Chin is director of Spinal Pain Management at the UCSF Imaging Center at China Basin, and an expert in CT-guided spine injections to treat pain. She also has expertise in magnetic resonance neurography, and spinal and nerve diffusion imaging.

Chin earned a medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, where she completed a radiology residency program. She completed a neuroradiology fellowship at UCSF. In her research, she studies advanced imaaging of the spine and nerves. She is a member of the American Roentgen Ray Society, American Society of Neuroradiology and American Society of Spine Radiology. Chin is an associate professor of clinical radiology and neurosurgery at UCSF.
