Curtis L. Whitehair, MD, is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) and is a specialist in musculoskeletal, occupational medicine, and cancer rehabilitation. He is currently the Program Director of the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Training Program, the Director of the Cancer Rehabilitation program for MedStar NRH and the MedStar NRH Rehabilitation Network. He currently sees patients at the MedStar NRH Outpatient Physician Center in Washington, DC.

Dr. Whitehair is a graduate of Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training in physical medicine & rehabilitation at MedStar NRH after completing a preliminary year of family medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. He is the Vice Chair of Education for the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation at the Georgetown University School of Medicine.

Dr. Whitehair is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and served as the 2007- 2009 President of the Maryland Society of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 2010, as a MedStar Health Teaching Scholar, he completed the Association of American Medical Colleges' Medical Education Research Certification.
