Cullen Carter MD, FACS, FASMBS

Dr. Carter came to BUSM in 2015 as an assistant professor of surgery. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology, summa cum laude, from Washington and Lee University and his MD from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He completed his residency in general surgery and a fellowship in surgical critical care at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston as well as an additional fellowship in advanced GI, minimally invasive, and bariatric surgery at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC.
