Crystal E. Brown MD, MA

Dr. Brown is an intensive care unit nocturnist in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and also serves as an ethics consultant at Harborview Medical Center. Her research interests focuses on palliative care and bioethics.

Dr. Brown earned her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Washington and her M.D. at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She completed internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago and pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the University of Washington. She obtained a Master’s degree in Bioethics and Humanities at the University of Washington. She is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and critical care medicine.
