Cristina Risco Ortiz PhD

Dr. Cristina Risco is a group leader and head of the Cell Structure Laboratory at the National Center for Biotechnology, one of the institutes of the National Research Council of Spain. She obtained her PhD in biology from the Complutense University of Madrid, conducted postdoctoral research at the National Cancer Institute (NCI-FCRDC, NIH, MD, USA) and worked as a visiting scientist at the Max Plank Institute for Biochemistry (Martinsried, Germany), the University Pierre et Marie Curie and the Institut Jacques Monod (Paris, France).
