Cristina Diaz MD

Cristina V. Torres Diaz is a specialist in Neurosurgery and a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Cum Laude qualification. She subsequently worked and specialized in Stereotaxic and Functional Neurosurgery at the Toronto Western Hospital, in Ontario, Canada.

Dr. Torres is an expert in the surgical treatment of OCD, depression, refractory aggression, epilepsy, and pain at the Ruber Internacional Hospital in Madrid. She is a member of the management team of the World Society for Functional Neurosurgery, she is a professor of several master's degrees in Neurosurgery, and of training courses for young neurosurgeons at the European Society of Neurosurgery. She is the author of numerous articles in scientific journals of recognized prestige.
