Cristian Coronel MS, PhD

Christian Abad Coronel graduated with honors from the University of Cuenca with an academic merit award in 1999. He was a specialist in Oral Rehabilitation at Universidad de Chile. In 2014, he obtained an Official Master's in Dental Sciences at Complutense University of Madrid. At the same University, he was a student in the first class of the Master in Restorative Dentistry based on new technologies. He has been trained in some important universities such as the University of Kentucky, USA, with the renowned Professor Dr. Jeffrey Okeson. He has also worked with the Italian Professor Dr. Ignazio Loi, who is an international reference in the BOPT. Dr. Abad also obtained his PhD degree with the highest distinction Cum Laude at the Complutense University of Madrid. He is the main professor of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Cuenca. He created the postgraduate course in Oral Rehabilitation in 2011. He joined as a collaborating professor of the Master's in Restorative Dentistry based on new technologies of the Faculty of Dentistry of the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2016, he obtained recognition as a specialist in Prosthodontics by the European Prosthodontic Association. He has been the winner of several scientific and academic competitions in Ecuador and Spain, a lecturer at international conferences, and a member of leading scientific societies such as SEPES, EA, O, and ICP. In addition, he has published several scientific articles.
