Craig Pennell MD

Associate Professor Craig Pennell graduated in medicine with honours in 1993 from Adelaide University. After three years in the Royal Australian Army, he pursued training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Sydney. This was followed by three years of subspecialty training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine in Perth and fifteen months of subspecialty training in Toronto, Canada.
Whilst completing his specialty and subspecialty training, he completed a PhD in Fetal Physiology evaluating the role of lactate measurement in the prediction of fetal hypoxic-ischaemic brain injury during labour.
