Dr. Cori Millen, DO is the owner and medical director of Summit Headache and Neurologic Institute. She is fellowship trained and board certified in headache medicine as well as a board certified in general neurology. She provides medical care for patients with all types of neurologic conditions and sub-specializes in the evaluation and medical management of a full spectrum of headache syndromes. Many of Dr. Millen’s life experiences shaped her philosophy and approach to providing medical care. While working on staff at the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center, Dr. Millen discovered the joy of working with individuals with a multitude of neurologic conditions. Dr. Millen was also fortunate to work with Dr. Andrew Weil’s Program In Integrative Medicine before going to medical school. Following these experiences, Dr. Millen graduated with a medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing her internship at Sparrow Health System/Michigan State University in Lansing, Michigan she went on to complete her residency in neurology at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill where she was the chief resident during her final year. Dr. Millen then graduated from an accredited neurological fellowship in Headache Medicine at UNC-Chapel Hill. Dr. Millen is also a member of the Colorado Neurologic Institute and is active in current medical research in the field of headache medicine.
