Coral X. Giovacchini, MD is an Interventional Pulmonologist within the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine in the Duke University Health System. She is currently leading the development of the interventional pulmonary program at Duke Raleigh Hospital, based out of the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center, and see practice both at Duke Raleigh and at Duke University Medical Center. As a medical instructor within a high level academic program, She currently focus on procedural pulmonary medicine, developing expertise in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventional pulmonary procedures including navigational bronchoscopy, rigid bronchoscopy, airway stent placement, advanced endoluminal therapeutics (e.g. cryotherapy, thermal and laser therapies, photodynamic light therapy), and medical thoracoscopy/pleuroscopy.
