Constantine Mavroudis, MD is an internationally recognized and board certified cardiothoracic surgeon who is the leading physician at Heart Surgeons for Kids and the Medical Director of the Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center at Florida Hospital for Children. He specializes in surgeries to address arrhythmia, complex congenital heart defects and coronary artery dysfunction in children, as well as in cardiac transplantation procedures and adult congenital heart interventions.

A past president of the Congenital Heart Surgeons Society and of the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association, he is a leading expert in his field whose patients travel from across the country and beyond to receive his care. Dr. Mavroudis was born in Greece and grew up in New Jersey, where he attended Rutgers University prior to earning his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville. He undertook his residency training in general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery as well as a research fellowship at the University of California – San Francisco.
