Concepcion Moreno-Maldonado is a Researcher at the University of Seville, Sevilla la Nueva, Madrid, Spain. She completed her Doctorate in Psychology, graduated in Psychology and Social and Cultural Anthropology, and is currently, a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Evolutionary and Educational Psychology of the University of Seville. Her research is carried out mainly within the framework of the Health Behavior in School-aged Children (HBSC) project, a study carried out in more than 50 countries on the health, lifestyles, and development contexts of the adolescent population. In addition to belonging to the Spanish team of the HBSC study, she is co-coordinator of the countries in zone A in this international network and a member of the Focus Group on Socioeconomic Inequalities and Sex, Gender, and Sexual Orientation. In addition, it participates in the development of other research projects, among which the Opinion Barometer of Children and Adolescents (OPINA) and two projects subsidized by the Equality Unit stand out to detect and promote actions against gender inequality in the context of academics. Her research focuses on social, economic, and cultural inequalities, gender identity, gender inequalities, and intersectionality.
