Colleen H. Dansereau MSN, RN, CPN

Colleen Dansereau, MSN, RN, CPN, is Vice President of Emerging Discoveries and Gene Therapy Operations at Boston Children’s Hospital, where she leads the operational strategy and clinical implementation of advanced gene and cell therapies for pediatric patients. A nationally recognized nursing and healthcare operations leader, she has played a central role in building one of the country’s leading pediatric gene therapy programs, helping translate groundbreaking scientific discoveries into accessible, patient-centered care.

Dansereau is widely respected for developing innovative operational frameworks that integrate nursing leadership into the delivery of highly specialized therapies. She has emphasized the importance of holistic patient care, coordinating everything from treatment logistics and insurance navigation to international patient support and long-term care planning. Her work has contributed to the rapid deployment of newly approved therapies and the advancement of scalable models for precision medicine and translational care delivery.

In addition to her operational leadership, Dansereau has been an advocate for the evolving role of nurses in innovation, research, and advanced therapeutics. She has collaborated with physicians, scientists, pharmacists, and healthcare executives to support clinical trials, CAR T-cell therapy programs, and emerging medical discovery initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for children with rare and life-threatening diseases. Dansereau earned her undergraduate degree from Salve Regina College and her graduate degree from George Washington University. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) and continues to contribute to the advancement of pediatric precision medicine through leadership, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
