Colin Howden MD, FACG

Dr. Colin W. Howden is a Professor Emeritus in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1978 and is a trained physician in internal medicine, gastroenterology, and clinical pharmacology. He held various academic positions, including Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University and Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, before becoming a professor emeritus.

Dr. Howden has over four decades of experience and has contributed extensively to research and understanding of gastrointestinal and internal medicine, with a particular interest in upper GI disorders.
