Colin S. Bell DDS, MSD

A Dallas area native and a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Southern Methodist University, Colin S. Bell, D.D.S., M.S.D., received his dental degree in 1979 from Baylor College of Dentistry and completed oral and maxillofacial training at Baylor University Medical Center in 1984. As an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), he currently serves in the AAOMS House of Delegates. He has previously completed terms as president of both the Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Most recently, Dr. Bell served as the chairman of the Oral and Maxillofacial Political Action Committee Board of Directors and thereafter was elected as a Director of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He will also serve as president of the ABOMS for 2015-2016.

Dr. Bell serves as a clinical professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry and Texas A&M University Health Center. He holds fellowship status in both the American and International College of Dentists and is a recent recipient of the AAOMS Presidential Achievement Award (2013). Dr. Bell was also voted among the Best in Dallas for 2013 and 2014 for D Magazine. Dr. Bell maintains an active private practice. He is married and has two grown sons. He enjoys all types of outdoor activities including snow skiing and woodworking.
