Colin Royse MBBS, MD, FANZCA

Colin Royse is a Professor of Anaesthesia in the Department of Surgery, The University of Melbourne. He is also a consultant cardiothoracic anaesthetist at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. He is co-director of the Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma of Clinical Ultrasound. His research interests include Postoperative Quality of Recovery and are the chair of the scientific committee for the Postoperative Quality of Recovery Scale (PQRS). He also has research interests in echocardiography in cardiac, non-cardiac surgery and preoperative evaluation; anaesthesia pharmacology, and outcomes research after cardiac surgery.
