Dr. Cloudius R. Sagandira graduated with a BSc in Biochemistry and Chemistry from the Nelson Mandela
University in 2014 where he went on to receive his Honours degree in Formulation Science (Cum Laude) in
2015. In the same year, he joined Professor Paul Watts’ group as a Master of Science candidate at the same
University where he worked on potentially explosive azide chemistry in continuous flow systems and
graduated in 2017 with distinction. Working in the same research group, he received his chemistry Ph.D. degree in 2019 where he developed a continuous flow synthetic procedure for oseltamivir phosphate an anti-influenza drug. Currently, he is a postdoctoral fellow in the same research group working on the synthesis of numerous drug inflow.
