Clive Kelly MBBS, MRCP, MD, FRCP

Dr Clive Kelly is a Physician with an interest in auto-immune disorders. A Graduate from Newcastle Medical School, he worked for 28 years at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead. Clinically, he remains based in the NE of England but spends several months each year working in Sub Saharan Africa teaching and undertaking clinical research. He is affiliated to both Newcastle and North Umbria Universities, as well as Medical Schools in Africa and the Caribbean. He leads the BSR Special Interest Group in lung disorders associated with rheumatic diseases, and is actively involved in research studies to assess the role of new therapeutic agents in this area.
