Dr. Cutchins is a life member of the Virginia Beach Volunteer Rescue Squad rising to the level of an EMT-A from 2005 to 2013. During that time he held various leadership roles including Public Relations Officer and planned large-scale EMS standbys for events such as the Shamrock Marathon, ECSC, and the Sand Soccer Tournament together with city officials. Dr. Cutchins completed his undergraduate and medical schooling at the University of Virginia in 2009 and 2013, respectively. He then completed a residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Florida in 2017 and a fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Anesthesiology at the Texas Heart Institute in 2018. Dr. Cutchins returned to Virginia Beach in 2018 and is now a staff anesthesiologist with Atlantic Anesthesia, Inc. He is a diplomate with the American Board of Anesthesiologists as well as the National Board of Echocardiography. He currently resides in Virginia Beach with his wife, Mandi, and their daughter, Emersyn.
