Cleo Kontoravdi is an academic and reader in bioprocessing at the Chemical Engineering department at Imperial College London. She worked for the Swiss company Lonza for a year after her Ph.D. and joined Imperial College London in 2007 as a lecturer. She has published many papers in process modeling, optimization, and therapeutic protein production. Her specialty is understanding the critical parameters that affect the glycosylation of monoclonal antibodies from CHO cells. She is part of the Process System Engineering Center and Future Vaccine Manufacturing Research (FVMR) Hub at Imperial College London. She has supervised more than 20 Ph.D. and master students since 2007.
