Clement K. Chan, M.D., F.A.C.S. obtained his medical degree and ophthalmological training at Loma Linda University with fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He founded the Southern California Desert Retina Consultants (SCDRC) and is medical director of Inland Retina Consultants (IRC).
Dr. Chan has been in retinal practice here in the Coachella Valley since 1989. He is an associate clinical professor at Loma Linda University. Dr. Chan is a member of the Retina Society, Macula Society and Club Jules Gonin—national and international retina honor societies. Teaching through hands-on example, lectures and writing in specialty journals and books is his passion.
