Clemens Bulitta MD

Professor Bulitta is a trained surgeon with broad, international experience and knowledge in clinical medicine, health care, and the medical device industry. He heads the Institute of Medical Engineering and acts as Director of the Medical Engineering Bachelor Program at the Technical University of Applied Sciences (OTH) Amberg-Weiden.

Until 2012 he served in management and executive positions for Siemens Healthcare, among others he was responsible for the worldwide project and partner management of the Siemens Hybrid Operating Room business. Before his time in the industry, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard University in Boston USA from 1999 to 2001. After receiving his doctoral degree from Heidelberg University his surgical training took place at the University Hospitals in Essen and Mainz, Germany. He went to Medical School in Germany, Switzerland, and the USA.
