Claudio Smuclovisky

Dr. Claudio Smuclovisky is a cardiovascular imaging specialist Director of South Florida Medical Imaging Cardiovascular Institute at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

He was born in Argentina and received his medical degree from the University of Buenos Aires, School of Medicine in 1980.

He completed his specialized training in radiology and nuclear medicine at the University of Miami and was an Assistant Professor.

He is triple board certified in radiology, nuclear medicine and cardiovascular computed tomography. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He also serves on the accreditation reviewer panel of CT and nuclear medicine for the American College of Radiology.

In 2005, Dr. Smuclovisky started the first cardiac CT course in the USA for Philips. He is director of the accredited teaching center which has certified over 700 physicians from the USA and around the world.

He is a frequently invited speaker at national and international conferences and is first author of a medical textbook on cardiac CT, published by Springer.
