Claudio Freiherr Von Schacky MD

Mr. Claudio von Schacky, MD, is a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Musculoskeletal and Quantitative Imaging Research (MQIR) group at the Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at the University of California, San Francisco.

As a physician with an engineering background, Claudio von Schacky is interested in developing new imaging and image analysis techniques in the field of musculoskeletal radiology. Current research projects revolve around developing new clinically applicable machine learning and deep learning approaches for image analysis of osteoarthritis. He is also excited to develop new image analysis tools with Python, R, and C using machine learning libraries such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
