Claudio Albrecht PhD

Claudio Albrecht, co-founder and managing partner of Albrecht, Prock & Partners has served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of the Actavis Group. Following the acquisition by the US company Watson, Actavis became the third largest generics company, operating in over 60 countries worldwide.

Claudio started his pharmaceutical career at Sandoz in 1987 and became General Manager of its generics business in the Netherland first, then in Germany and the US, before leaving to become CEO of the Ratiopharm Group in Germany.

Subsequently he co-founded CoMeth S.R.O. – a consulting firm based in Slovakia, specialized in M&A and strategy consulting for pharmaceutical companies and Private Equity. Claudio held several board positions in the pharmaceutical industry.

Claudio has a PHD degree in Law from Innsbruck University.
