Claudia K. Fox MD, MPH

Dr. Claudia Fox is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota. She is the Co-Director of the University of Minnesota Center for Pediatric Obesity Medicine and Medical Director of the Pediatric Weight Management clinics. She completed her MD and MPH degrees at the University of Minnesota and completed a fellowship in Academic General Pediatrics also at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Fox is Board Certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, in addition to Pediatrics. Her expertise is in the clinical management of children and adolescents with severe obesity, and particularly in the use of pharmacotherapy for obesity in this population. Dr. Fox’s research focus has also been in the use of medications for obesity in youth. She has been a co-investigator in several clinical trials examining the weight loss properties of various medications for youth with severe obesity.
