Dr Claude NOS is a cancer surgeon specializing in breast surgery. He holds a diploma in general surgery and a diploma in oncology. Former intern and former head of clinic at Paris hospitals. He worked for 9 years at the Institut Curie in the breast surgery department. In 2005, he resigned from the Institut Curie to join the team at the INSTITUT DU SEIN in Paris. He also works at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital where he is a part-time hospital practitioner.

Dr NOS is one of the most renowned French surgeons in the field of breast cancer , whether it involves excision surgery or restorative and reconstructive surgery. He was one of the French pioneers of the sentinel lymph node technique and wrote numerous publications in this field. He is at the origin of an approach to preserve arm lymph nodes in the event of axillary dissection to avoid “fat arms”. This technique has been presented at numerous international conferences and is the subject of a clinical research protocol.

Dr NOS is a member of the French Association of Surgery, the International Sentinel Node Society, as well as the French Society of Senology and Breast Pathology. He sits on the Board of Directors of the GYNECOMED Ile-de-France network. He teaches residents of the Complementary Specialized Study Diploma in oncology and radiotherapy, the Interuniversity Diploma in gynecological and breast oncology at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital, at the European School of Oncology and at the European School of Surgery. He has published several scientific articles on breast cancer in international journals.
