Clark Pan BS, BA, PhD

Clark Pan has over 20 years of industry experience in both Research and Development organizations, where he has been responsible for the delivery of 15 development candidates and the successful clinical proof of concept for one of these candidates.
He currently holds the position of VP, Head of Discovery Therapeutics at Shire, overseeing all therapeutic modalities, including protein, antibody, peptide, gene therapy, and small molecules. Prior to joining Shire in 2014, Clark spent 8 years each at Genzyme/Sanofi and Bayer. Clark received his PhD from University of California, Los Angeles and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Genentech.
