Clare Shaw PhD, RD

Clare is Consultant Dietitian at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and has specialised in working with oncology patients for over 20 years. Her work has included advising patients with different cancer diagnoses including head and neck, gastrointestinal and breast cancer. More recent work includes working with patients who have late gastrointestinal effects following treatment for cancer in a specialised outpatient setting. Outside her work at The Royal Marsden she is on the Clinical Advisory Board for Macmillan, a national UK cancer charity.

She was also a member of the group that produced the national rehabilitation pathways in cancer and has published a cookery book on diet and cancer prevention. Clare has recently published a text book entitled Nutrition and Cancer.
