Cirrone Giuseppe Antonio Pablo PhD

Cirrone Giuseppe Antonio Pablo is a graduate in nuclear physics the University of Catania with a thesis on the plastic scintillator applications in medical physics. He later received his Fsica Medical degree from the University of Florence with a thesis on the use of synthetic and natural diamond as dosimetry systems for ionizing radiation. He later received his PHD from the University of Catania with a thesis on the use of the Monte Carlo code Geant4 in hadron therapy applications. Since 2006 he is a member of the Steering Board Geant4 as responsible for "Advanced Examples". Since 2007 he is responsible for the proton beam line at Southern National Laboratories. Since 2012 he is responsible for national Elimed project.
