Cinthya Pena Orbea MD

Dr. Cinthya Peña-Orbea, MD, is a board-certified physician in the Sleep Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Sleep Medicine and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, hypersomnolence, and circadian rhythm disorders. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Peña-Orbea is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care while improving access to high-quality sleep medicine for diverse patient populations.

Dr. Peña-Orbea earned her medical degree from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, followed by fellowships in Sleep Medicine and Hospital Internal Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She joined the Cleveland Clinic staff in 2020.
