Dr. Cindy Lin received her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Stanford University and her Medical Degree (MD) from Harvard Medical School. She completed her internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center and her residency at Stanford University Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Cindy completed her Sports Medicine Fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago/Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She is American Board certified in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.

Her clinical interests include the care of spine disorders, overuse injuries, gait analysis, women’s and children’s sports medicine, the aging athlete, adaptive sports for disabled athletes, and polytrauma rehabilitation. In addition to her clinical strengths, Dr. Lin brings extensive experience in clinical research and in postgraduate teaching. She has published research in the American Journal of Sports Medicine, Journal of Biomechanics, and Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology and has lectured at the American College of Sports Medicine Conference. She is Director of Community Outreach for Exercise is Medicine Singapore.

She has provided medical coverage for the Chicago Marathon, Chicago Triathalon, National Senior Games at Stanford, and the Stanford Cross Country Invitational. She has also served as physician sideline coverage for National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I women’s basketball, men’s soccer, and men’s wrestling. During her university days, she competed for the Stanford Equestrian Team. She enjoys swimming, hiking, horseback riding, and ballroom dancing.
