Chunxiang Qin RN, PhD

Professor Chunxiang Qin has been a registered nurse since 1997 and a nurse manager since 2008 in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the Third Xiangya Hospital. Then she was transferred to the Department of Health Management due to her outstanding work performance and excellent scientific research ability. Besides her clinical career in obstetrics and health management services, Dr. Qin has long been engaged in research on health promotion, evidence-based exercise, and behavioral programs for women and children and has been committed to developing innovative care programs for women with perinatal depression, improving their mental health and quality of life. Dr. Qin has published more than 30 academic papers. She has supervised more than 10 research projects funded by funds at home and abroad and has been a reviewer for 3 scientific journals as a reviewer. She has been honored as a Yale-China Association Chia Fellow from Yale University. Currently, Dr. Qin is a member of the Chinese Nursing Association (CNA), Chinese Medical Association (CMA), China Maternal and Child Health Association (CMCHA), etc.
