Dr. Christos is a highly regarded fertility specialist and gynecologist with an international reputation and extensive experience in the field. He is currently the Senior Coordinator of Clinical Research at IVFAustralia and is actively participating in many international research projects aiming to improve the success of IVF for infertile couples. His comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the latest developments across a wide range of fertility issues allow him to offer his patients the best and most up-to-date treatment the field has to offer.

Dr. Christos gained his MD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He went on to complete an MSc in Medical Research Methodology and an MSc in Healthcare Management. Christos was awarded his Ph.D. from Aristotle University for his work on the prognostic role of progesterone for the outcome of in-vitro fertilization cycles. This work has gained international recognition and has been instrumental in changing the clinical practice in most IVF clinics worldwide.

In 2014 Christos completed his subspecialty training in Reproductive Medicine in the most prestigious academic IVF clinic of Greece. He moved to Sydney Australia in 2014 and is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG). Christos is a Senior Lecturer in Reproductive Medicine at the University of NSW. He has published numerous scientific papers regarding Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in international, high impact peer-reviewed journals, as well as chapters in books. He has published extensively on the optimal way of managing patients with a low number of eggs after ovarian stimulation (women with reduced ovarian reserve/ poor responders), probably the most challenging group of patients in modern IVF.
