Christopher Sonnex MA, MB BS, FRCP

Prior to taking up his current post as Consultant in Genitourinary Medicine at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge and Associate Lecturer, University of Cambridge in 1989, Dr Sonnex was Lecturer at the Academic Department of Genitourinary Medicine, Middlesex Hospital, London.

Dr Sonnex has been Clinical Director of the GU Medicine service at Addenbrooke’s Hospital for over 15 years and provides a colposcopy service for women with bleeding associated with sexual intercourse, a minor operations clinic and for 24 years has developed a specialist interest in genital dermatology and vulval disease, including painful sexual intercourse.
