Christopher Paul Wild PhD

Christopher Paul Wild has been the director of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) since 2009. A prestigious institute associated with the World Health Organization (WHO) and based in the French city of Lyon. The IARC promotes international collaborations in the area of ​​cancer research from there, with a special focus on the prevention of cancer. Dr. Wild himself has a scientific interest in better understanding the relationship between environmental factors and genetic factors in the development of cancer. Dr. Wild worked at the University of Leeds until 2008 as a professor of molecular epidemiology.
