Dr. Christopher Thomas Martin is a spine and orthopedic surgeon and is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. His current practice specializes in spinal trauma, spinal tumor, spinal deformity, and spinal infection, but with a clinical focus on degenerative pathologies of the spine.

Christopher has extensive research experience, having authored or co-authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications, and has successfully been awarded grant funding from several major orthopedic organizations including the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation, the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, and the Mid-American Orthopaedic Association.

He was extensively involved in leadership opportunities during his orthopedic residency, having served as the resident member of the publications committee for the AAOS, and on the grant review committee for the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation.

His research interests are Orthopedic Surgery, Spine Surgery, Spinal Trauma, Spinal Tumor, Spinal Deformity, Spinal Infection, Surgery, Hip Replacement Surgery, Knee Replacement, and Bone Fracture.
